Our two cottages are private, quiet and perfect for romantic getaways.

The quaint little town of Mineola is just seven miles away where the charm of yesteryear abounds. Sidewalks there are filled with antique shops galore, historic eating establishments, museums , coffee houses and more.

Pine Tree Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located approximately 30 miles from both 1-20 and 1-30 and is a pleasant drive from the Dallas metroplex some 80 miles away.

Although the lake is not accessible, the view is spectacular and there are over 50 lakes in Wood county. Several of the lakes are within 7 - 10 minutes from your cottage.

In the morning wake up refreshed and ready to enjoy the full breakfast waiting for you on the deck of your cottage. You might even catch a glimpse of a fish jumping out of the water or a bird gliding across the water as you begin your day.

We provide wireless internet and satellite television with over 250 channels to choose from in both cottages. We also have a wide variety of DVD’s as well and watching a classic movie may be just what you need before drifting off to sleep. Or you might refresh your spirit by selecting a “good read” among our many books before turning in for the night.

The grounds at our Bed and Breakfast are yours for the length of your stay. A hammock made for two will gently erase your cares away as you swing between towering trees.

For the sightseers, Mineola and the East Texas area provides countless activities throughout the year. Mineola Nature Preserve is beautiful and provides nature trails, canoeing, kayaking and is a favorite spot for bird watching.

For the music buff there are a number of festivals and pickin parlors that display area talent. The famous Tyler Rose Festival and Gardens is a popular attraction with its beautiful array of colors, fragrances and blooms.

Canton’s “First Monday” trade days is always a fun unique shopping experience and is just 20 minutes away from the B&B. Pine Mills Pottery may have that one of a kind vase or other pottery piece just waiting for you and is located just a few miles from Mineola.
